Overview
The KIDD Supergrade is a high-end semi-automatic .22 Long Rifle built by KIDD Innovative Design of McQueeney, Texas, founded by former US Army Marksmanship Unit gunsmith Tony Kidd. It is the company's premium tier above the Ruger 10/22-pattern Classic, built around a proprietary billet 6061-T6 aluminum Supergrade receiver that mates only to KIDD Supergrade barrels via a unique 1 7/8-inch barrel extension and a three-part fit system (indexing flat, clamping V, clamping flat) that allows rapid, repeatable barrel swaps. The rifle uses KIDD's signature adjustable two-stage trigger (tunable from roughly 6 ounces to 2.5 pounds) and feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine. Barrels are offered in stainless or black steel, fluted or bull profiles, in 16.5-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch lengths, all threaded with a muzzle cap. The Supergrade is regarded as one of the most accurate production semi-auto rimfire rifles available, favored by precision and competitive rimfire shooters.

Background
Tony Kidd built .22 rifle parts as a side business for years while working as a gunsmith for the US Army Marksmanship Unit, going full-time around 2008.
