Overview
The Kimber 84M is an ultralight short-action bolt-action sporting rifle introduced in 2001 and built around the .308 Winchester family of cartridges. Its scaled, minimal-dimension action uses a Mauser-type claw extractor for true controlled-round feed and extraction, with two front locking lugs and a rear safety lug. Accuracy is supported by a match-grade barrel, match chamber, adjustable trigger and pillar bedding, while the trim profile keeps weight low for mountain and backcountry hunting.
