Notes
The Kimber Custom II uses left-hand rifling with a 1:16 inch twist rate optimized for .45 ACP. Available in .45 ACP, 9mm, 10mm, and .38 Super chamberings. The trigger pull is factory set at 4.0-5.0 pounds with a 16-pound recoil spring. The sight radius of 6.8 inches provides excellent accuracy potential for a duty-sized pistol.
Background
Kimber Manufacturing was originally founded in Oregon in 1979 to make rimfire rifles, but after relocating to New York in 1997, they pivoted to 1911 pistols and quickly became the largest premium 1911 manufacturer in the world. The Custom II represents their entry-level premium offering with match-grade components that rival pistols costing twice as much.
