Overview
The LANTAC LA-SF15 RECON is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Wylde / 5.56x45mm NATO from Lantac USA. Its 14.5-inch nitrided 416R stainless barrel wears a pinned-and-welded Lantac Lamprey PlanB compensated flash hider to reach a 16-inch non-NFA overall length, while an intermediate gas system tunes the recoil impulse between carbine and rifle length for reliable, soft-shooting performance. The RECON shares the LA-SF15's enhanced forged receiver set, E-BCG enhanced bolt carrier, 13.5-inch Spada-ML free-float handguard, and B5 Systems furniture, making it a compact, fast-handling general-purpose carbine that keeps standard rifle length without an SBR stamp.

Background
LANTAC built its reputation on the Dragon muzzle brake, a recoil-taming device that became a fixture on high-end ARs before the company offered complete rifles. The LA-SF15 is the firm's distillation of that aftermarket knowledge into a factory rifle: enhanced forged receivers, the patented CP-R360 Domed Head cam pin, and the E-BCG enhanced bolt carrier that vents gas forward and away from the shooter. Each rifle is shot-tested before it leaves the Texas facility and carries a lifetime warranty.
