Overview
The GOL Sniper Magnum is a German bolt-action sniper rifle chambered primarily in .338 Lapua Magnum, designed by gunsmith Gottfried Prechtl and produced by Gol-Matic GmbH of Birkenau. It is built around a custom Magnum Mauser action machined from solid steel and a match-grade Lothar Walther barrel, fed from a five-round detachable box magazine. With a Sto-Con walnut stock offering adjustable length of pull and cheek rest, the rifle delivers sub-1 MOA accuracy with match-grade ammunition out to roughly 1,000 metres and has been adopted by several German federal and state police units.
