Also known as: Alien Remus, Laugo Arms Alien Remus
Overview
The Laugo Alien Remus is a compact, concealed-carry semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, built by Laugo Arms as a downsized derivative of the competition-focused Alien. Like its parent, it uses an unusual gas-delayed blowback action with a fixed barrel, which combined with a negative bore axis sitting roughly 1.7 mm below the top of the shooting hand gives it exceptionally flat recoil for a pistol its size. The internal-hammer, single-stage trigger, non-reciprocating optic rail with a push-to-rack lever, and interchangeable optic plates carry over the Alien's engineering into a defensive package with a 15-round flush magazine. A steel slide over an aluminum grip module with a steel chassis, modular grip components, and a matte-black-with-gold-accents finish mark it as a premium, low-volume luxury carry gun rather than a mass-market pistol.

Compact carry variant of the Laugo Arms Alien. Uses a fixed-barrel gas-delayed blowback system (not a locked-breech action). Magazines are compatible with 17-round Alien-family magazines.
Background
Laugo named the compact carry version of its otherworldly Alien pistol 'Remus' after one of the mythical founders of Rome, and marketed it as boasting 'the lowest bore axis in the world' - the barrel actually sits below the top of the shooter's grip, so the gun tries to rotate down into the hand instead of flipping up.
