The Lobaev Arms DXL-5 Havoc is a Russian ultra-long-range modular sniper rifle designed for engagements beyond 2,500 meters. Developed by Vladislav Lobaev's design bureau in Tarusa, the DXL-5 represents the pinnacle of Russian precision rifle engineering, featuring a multi-caliber modular platform capable of accepting interchangeable barrels for .408 CheyTac, .375 CheyTac, and potentially 12.7mm calibers. Built on an aluminum alloy chassis, the rifle achieves remarkable accuracy of 0.5 MOA even with its large-bore chamberings. The Havoc was first publicly revealed in 2021 and has reportedly been deployed in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, where its extreme range capability provides Russian snipers with standoff engagement distances previously unattainable with conventional sniper systems.
