Also known as: LWRCI REPR, Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle, LWRC R.E.P.R.
Overview
The LWRC REPR (Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle) is the original semi-automatic 7.62x51mm NATO precision battle rifle introduced by LWRC International in 2010, built on an AR-10-pattern platform around the company's signature self-regulating short-stroke gas piston operating system. The piston design keeps the bolt carrier group cool and clean for improved reliability over direct-impingement AR-10s, while the cold hammer-forged barrel, Geissele two-stage trigger, full-length Picatinny rail, and proprietary four-port muzzle brake target sub-MOA precision for hunting, long-range competition, and law enforcement. The REPR was offered with interchangeable 12, 16, and 20-inch barrels and feeds from SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazines. It was later superseded by the redesigned REPR MKII, which introduced the Monoforge upper receiver and spiral-fluted barrels.

Background
LWRC's name stands for 'Land Warfare Resources Corporation,' reflecting its military-contractor roots. The REPR was the company's bid to bring piston-driven reliability, normally associated with carbines, to the demanding 7.62mm semi-automatic precision rifle class.
