LWRC REPR MKII
LWRC International · Sniper Rifle · In Production · 2010
Also known as: LWRCI REPR MKII, Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle, REPR MK2, LWRC R.E.P.R.
Overview
The LWRC REPR MKII (Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle Mark II) is a semi-automatic precision rifle built around LWRC International's proven short-stroke gas piston operating system, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO and 6.5 Creedmoor. The REPR MKII features LWRC's proprietary Monoforge upper receiver, machined from a single billet of aluminum with an integrated rail base, eliminating the joint between the upper receiver and handguard for enhanced rigidity and accuracy. The cold hammer-forged, spiral-fluted barrel with a nickel boron-treated bolt carrier group delivers exceptional accuracy and extended service life. Available in 12.7, 16, and 20-inch barrel configurations, the REPR MKII serves roles from compact vehicle operations to precision engagement at extended ranges. The rifle ships with a Geissele two-stage trigger, Magpul PRS adjustable stock, and LWRC's Skirmish backup iron sights.

Notes
The original REPR was introduced in 2010 and the MKII update brought the Monoforge upper receiver, spiral-fluted barrels, and improved ergonomics. LWRC's short-stroke gas piston system runs cleaner and cooler than direct impingement designs, reducing maintenance requirements in field conditions. The Monoforge upper is CNC-machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum, with the rail base integrated directly into the receiver, providing a more rigid and consistent mounting surface for optics. The 20-inch barrel model weighs 8.75 lbs and has been tested to deliver sub-MOA accuracy. The rifle accepts standard SR-25/DPMS pattern magazines.
Background
LWRC's name stands for 'Land Warfare Resources Corporation,' reflecting the company's origins as a military-focused contractor. The REPR was designed specifically to bring the piston-driven reliability advantage to the 7.62mm precision rifle market.
