Marlin 336 Dark Series
Marlin Firearms · Rifle · In Production · 2023
Also known as: Marlin Model 336 Dark, 336 Dark Series, Model 336 Dark (70902)
Overview
The Marlin 336 Dark Series is a modern, tactical reinterpretation of the classic Model 336 lever-action rifle, built by Sturm, Ruger & Co. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester, it retains the time-tested side-ejecting, solid-top Model 336 action and 5-round tubular magazine but pairs it with a nylon-reinforced polymer stock and forend featuring M-LOK attachment points, a 16.17-inch threaded barrel with a radial muzzle brake, an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight, a tritium-ring fiber-optic front sight, a big-loop lever, a removable cheek riser for optic use, QD sling swivel cups, and a Picatinny optics rail. The blacked-out furniture and satin black metalwork reposition the traditional brush gun as a compact, modern truck and woods carbine.

Background
The Dark Series took the century-old Model 336 deer rifle and gave it a tactical makeover - polymer furniture, M-LOK, a threaded and braked barrel and tritium ghost-ring sights - repositioning the classic .30-30 brush gun as a modern truck and woods carbine.
