Overview
The Mauser 90DA is a double-action, short-recoil semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Based on the Browning Hi-Power pattern, it was produced for Mauser by FEG of Hungary and marketed in the early 1990s. It differs from the original Hi-Power and its own single-action sibling, the 90SA, by adding a traditional double-action/single-action trigger, an enlarged trigger guard, and a frame-mounted safety/decocking lever. A compact version with a shortened barrel was also offered.
