The Minebea P9 (officially designated '9mm Pistol' by the JSDF, 9mm拳銃 Kyumiri Kenjū) is the Japanese license-built version of the Swiss-German SIG Sauer P220, adopted in 1982 as the standard sidearm of the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
