O.F. Mossberg & Sons · Shotgun · In Production · 2018

Also known as: Mossberg 590M Mag-Fed

Overview

The Mossberg 590M is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun that replaces the traditional tubular magazine with a detachable double-stack box magazine, feeding from 5-, 10-, 15-, or 20-round mags for rapid reloads. Built on Mossberg's combat-proven 590 platform, it keeps the dual extractors, ambidextrous top-tang safety, and aluminum receiver while adding magazine-fed capacity for home defense and tactical use.

Background

Mossberg's 590 series earned a reputation passing the demanding U.S. Mil-Spec 3443E torture test; the 590M adapted that rugged pump action to box magazines just as magazine-fed shotguns surged in popularity for defensive use.
