Overview
The Mossberg 590R is a magazine-fed pump-action 12-gauge shotgun that replaces the traditional tubular magazine with a detachable box magazine system, available in 6-round capacity for the 590R. The 590R introduces an AR-style rotary safety selector - a first for the Mossberg 590 platform - along with Magpul MBUS 3 adjustable sights, a five-position adjustable stock with interchangeable recoil pad, MOE pistol grip, and a flat-profile trigger. The integrated heat shield barrel and compact forend complete the tactical package. The companion 590RM model accepts Mossberg's double-stack 10-round detachable magazines, with 15- and 20-round magazines also available. The Parkerized finish provides enhanced corrosion resistance for harsh environments.
