Overview
The Mossberg 702 Plinkster is a lightweight semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, marketed as an inexpensive plinking and small-game rifle. It uses a blowback action fed from a detachable 10- or 25-round box magazine and features a free-floating barrel, adjustable fiber-optic sights, a crossbolt safety, and a 3/8-inch grooved receiver for rimfire scope mounts. Manufactured in Brazil for O.F. Mossberg & Sons, it is offered in full-size and youth-oriented Bantam configurations.
