The Mossberg Model 640 Chuckster is an American bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, produced by O.F. Mossberg & Sons from 1959 to 1984. Marketed for varmint and small-game hunting, the Chuckster earned a reputation for accuracy with its 24-inch barrel, Monte Carlo walnut stock with pistol grip and raised cheek piece, adjustable open sights, and a 5-round detachable box magazine. It was one of the earliest rifles offered in the then-new .22 WMR cartridge.
