Overview
The Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical is a budget-oriented bolt-action long-range rifle designed for precision shooting at an accessible price point. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Winchester, the rifle features a 22-inch medium bull barrel with 5/8x24 threading for suppressor or muzzle brake attachment, Mossberg's LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) adjustable trigger with a pull weight range of 2 to 7 pounds, and an aluminum V-block bedding system for improved accuracy consistency. The adjustable tactical stock with adjustable comb height and length of pull allows the shooter to customize the fit. At 8.8 pounds, the rifle provides enough weight to dampen recoil while remaining portable for field use. The 10-round magazine capacity and 1:8 twist rate in 6.5 Creedmoor are optimized for heavy, high-BC match bullets commonly used in long-range competition and precision practice.

The Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical represents Mossberg's entry into the long-range precision market, a segment the company known primarily for shotguns and hunting rifles had not traditionally competed in.
