Overview
The MTs 111 is a high-quality, hand-built side-by-side double-barrelled shotgun produced by TsKIB SOO in Tula, Soviet Union, from 1968. A hammerless break-action design chambered for the 12/70mm shell, it features automatic ejectors, a finely finished walnut stock, and was frequently decorated with hand engraving. It was regarded as one of the most expensive and prestigious sporting shotguns made in the USSR, and the line later spawned rifled and combination variants.

Background
TsKIB SOO's MTs-series guns were the Soviet Union's answer to English 'best' guns - each MTs 111 was essentially hand-fitted by master gunsmiths in Tula, making it one of the costliest firearms an ordinary Soviet hunter could ever hope to own.
