Overview
The Musgrave Afrika is a bolt-action hunting rifle built in Bloemfontein, South Africa, around the Mauser-derived RSA action with a controlled-feed claw extractor. Chambered for full-power hunting cartridges such as the .30-06 Springfield and .308 Winchester, it pairs a blued barrelled action with a wooden sporter stock and internal box magazine. The Afrika was offered in Standard, De Lux and Supreme grades and formed part of Musgrave's line of African plains-game hunting rifles.

Background
Named for the continent its heavy chamberings were built to hunt, the Afrika carried the RSA action that Musgrave developed after decades of accurizing surplus Mauser service rifles for South African marksmen.
