Overview
The Nemo Arms Electus is an ultra-light bolt-action mountain hunting rifle introduced in 2026 - the first bolt gun from Nemo Arms, a company better known for large-caliber AR platforms. Built around a Zermatt TI3 titanium control-round-feed action on a Remington 700 footprint with a pinned-and-screwed 20-MOA split rail, the Electus pairs a Proof Research carbon-fiber-wrapped steel barrel with a Manners carbon-fiber folding stock and a TriggerTech trigger to reach a remarkably low rifle weight of roughly 6.5 pounds. It is offered in 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7mm PRC, 7mm Backcountry, and .300 PRC, with barrel length tailored to the chambering - 22 inches for 6.5 Creedmoor, 20 inches for 6.5 PRC and 7mm PRC, and 18 inches for 7mm Backcountry. Suppressor-ready threaded barrels, integrated ARCA and Picatinny rails, and sling interfaces make it a purpose-built backpack-hunting and travel rifle designed to carry farther with less fatigue and stow compactly.

Background
Known for its big-bore .300 Win Mag and .458 SOCOM gas-gun designs, Nemo Arms surprised the industry at SHOT Show 2026 by going the opposite direction - a sub-7-pound titanium-actioned bolt rifle. Range-day demonstrations reportedly put first-round hits on targets out to 950 yards in 6.5 PRC.
