Nemo Arms Omen Match 3.0
Nemo Arms · Sniper Rifle · In Production · 2015
Also known as: Omen Match 3.0, NEMO Omen, Omen Match .300 WM
Overview
The Nemo Arms Omen Match 3.0 is a semi-automatic precision rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, built on a proprietary AR-pattern platform engineered from the ground up to handle magnum-class cartridges. The rifle features a 22-inch Bartlein-blank barrel in 416R stainless steel with 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist rate, delivering exceptional accuracy at extreme distances. The billet aluminum upper and lower receivers are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in tungsten Cerakote for corrosion resistance and durability. The Omen Match 3.0 ships with a Geissele two-stage trigger and Magpul PRS adjustable stock, feeding from proprietary 14-round Nemo polymer magazines. At 11.2 pounds, the Omen Match represents a remarkable engineering achievement -- bringing magnum-class ballistics to a semi-automatic, AR-ergonomic platform that previously would have required a bolt-action rifle.

Notes
The Nemo Arms Omen platform was revolutionary when introduced, as it was one of the first commercially successful semi-automatic rifles chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum using an AR-style operating system. The proprietary gas system and bolt carrier group were designed to handle the significantly higher pressures and bolt thrust of the .300 Win Mag cartridge compared to standard .308 Winchester. The Bartlein barrel blanks are considered among the finest match-grade blanks available, with 5R rifling that reduces jacket deformation and copper fouling. The Nitemare variant features an 8-inch barrel for an ultra-compact SBR configuration, while the Recon offers a shorter barrel for field use.
Background
The Omen earned its name from its ability to deliver devastating .300 Win Mag power through a semi-automatic platform, something that was widely considered impossible in an AR-pattern rifle before Nemo Arms engineered the solution.
