Background

Nighthawk Custom is one of the only American 1911 makers that follows a strict 'one gunsmith, one gun' policy: a single craftsman builds each pistol from frame to final test-fire, signs the slide, and is personally accountable for it. The Talon series has been part of Nighthawk's lineup since the company's earliest years.
