Overview
The Norinco QBB-95 is a Chinese bullpup light machine gun chambered in 5.8x42mm, serving as the squad automatic weapon of the QBZ-95 small arms family. Gas-operated with a short-stroke piston and a three-lug rotating bolt, it differs from the QBZ-95 rifle through a longer heavy barrel, an integral folding bipod, and feed from 75-round drum magazines (it can also accept the standard 30-round box magazines). Adopted by the People's Liberation Army in the late 1990s, it provides sustained automatic fire support at the squad level.
