Also known as: NAA-RECLUSE

Overview

The North American Arms Recluse is a five-shot single-action mini-revolver chambered in .22 WMR, introduced for 2026. Unlike NAA's traditional pull-pin mini-revolvers, the Recluse adds a swing-out cylinder for faster, easier reloading along with a ported barrel to help tame muzzle rise. Handmade from stainless steel in the United States, it is built as an ultra-compact deep-concealment and backup carry pistol.

Notes

The swing-out cylinder is a significant departure from the fixed-cylinder, removable-base-pin design used on most NAA mini-revolvers. Marketed as a 'swing-out tactical mini-revolver'.

Background

North American Arms built its reputation on keychain-sized .22 mini-revolvers small enough to vanish in a closed fist; the Recluse modernizes that formula with a swing-out cylinder so reloading no longer requires removing the cylinder pin entirely.
