Overview
The Nosler Model 21 is a premium American bolt-action hunting rifle introduced in 2021. Built around an action developed in collaboration with Mack Brothers of South Dakota, it pairs a wire-EDM-machined, blueprinted receiver with a Shilen match-grade stainless steel barrel, a spiral-fluted one-piece bolt with a modified M16-style extractor and a 60-degree throw, a TriggerTech Field user-adjustable trigger, and a 100% carbon-fiber stock with aluminum pillars. Nosler backs the rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. The flagship .28 Nosler chambering is a high-velocity, long-range 7mm magnum well suited to open-country big-game hunting.

Chambered in a wide range of cartridges including .22 Nosler, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .26 Nosler, .27 Nosler, .280 Ackley Improved, .28 Nosler, 7mm PRC, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, .30 Nosler, .33 Nosler and .375 H&H Magnum. Barrel length is 22 inches for short-action calibers and 24 inches for long-action and magnum calibers; magazine capacity is 3-4 rounds depending on cartridge. Spec values listed are for the .28 Nosler configuration (24-inch barrel, 44.5-inch OAL, ~7.1 lb). Trigger pull is user-adjustable from approximately 2.5 to 5 lb.
Background
Nosler is best known not for rifles but for bullets: founder John Amos Nosler began developing a tougher big-game hunting bullet in 1946 after a Partition-bullet experience on a wounded moose, leading to the formation of the Nosler Partition company in 1948. The Model 21 honors that heritage and, in keeping with Nosler's convention of naming rifles for milestone years (as with the Model 48, named for the company's 1948 founding), references the year of the rifle's 2021 introduction.
