Overview

The Nosler Model 48 Mountain Carbon (Left-Handed) is a limited-edition lightweight bolt-action mountain hunting rifle built for left-handed shooters. It pairs a left-hand Model 48 action machined from billet 4140 steel with a 24-inch carbon-fiber-wrapped Sendero Light-contour barrel threaded 5/8-24, a left-handed Timney trigger, and a glass-and-aluminum pillar-bedded carbon-fiber Mountain Hunter stock, all finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. Chambered in the high-velocity .28 Nosler magnum, it is intended as a backcountry long-range hunting rifle that stays around six pounds.

Background

Nosler began in 1948 as a bullet maker famous for the Partition hunting projectile, and only branched into building complete rifles decades later; this left-handed Mountain Carbon is a rare nod to the southpaw hunters usually left out of limited runs.
