Background

Magazine-fed AR-pattern semi-auto shotguns like the AR-12 Pro let a shooter swap a fresh five-round box magazine almost as fast as reloading a rifle, sidestepping the slow shell-by-shell topping-up of a traditional tube-fed scattergun.
