Overview
The Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Sporting is a single-shot falling-block breech-loading rifle, a modern reproduction of the classic Sharps Model 1874 built by Italian gunmaker Davide Pedersoli. Chambered in .45-70 Government, it pairs a 813 mm blued octagonal barrel with a double set trigger, adjustable tunnel front sight and a tang drilled and tapped for Creedmoor long-range sights. Prized by Old West re-enactors, hunters and black-powder cartridge silhouette and long-range target shooters, it faithfully recreates the buffalo rifle that helped define the American frontier.
