Also known as: 86/71 Droptine, Pedersoli 8671 Droptine

Overview

The Pedersoli Model 86/71 Lever Action Droptine is a modern hunting lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, built on a solid steel CNC-machined receiver derived from the Winchester 1886/71 pattern. Introduced in 2023, it pairs a traditional tubular-magazine lever action with contemporary hunting features: a fiber-optic front sight and Scout-style Picatinny rail with an integrated rear iron sight, a threaded muzzle, an enlarged lever, a manual safety, and an adjustable cheekpiece. It is offered with a light tobacco-colored techno-polymer stock (S733) or a walnut stock (V733).

Background

Pedersoli, long famous for black-powder replicas, applied its 1886/71 lever-action platform to a thoroughly modern hunting rifle - fiber-optic sights, a scout rail, a threaded muzzle, and an adjustable polymer stock - deliberately blending 19th-century Winchester nostalgia with 21st-century deer-woods practicality.
