Reproduction of the 19th-century Remington rolling block system. Also offered in .45 Colt, which uses a 6-groove barrel with a 1:16 twist rather than the .357 Magnum's 8-groove 1:18 barrel.

The rolling block action, patented by Remington in the 1860s, was one of the most successful single-shot military and sporting mechanisms of the black-powder era. Pedersoli's Baby Carbine keeps that simple, robust breechblock design alive for modern shooters, scaling it down into a lightweight carbine chambered for handgun cartridges.
