Also known as: X-Caliber, G2 X-Caliber, Pneu-Dart X-Caliber RDD Projector
Overview
The Pneu-Dart G2 X-Caliber is a CO2-powered, single-shot remote drug delivery (RDD) dart projector rifle used for wildlife capture, veterinary sedation, and livestock management. Introduced in 2018 as the second-generation X-Caliber, it fires disposable Pneu-Dart RDD darts (0.5cc to 10cc) using pressurized 12-gram CO2 cartridges. A rotating power control behind the urethane-coated forearm lets the operator vary muzzle velocity without taking their eye off the target, giving an effective range of roughly 0 to 70 yards. Built from machined aluminum with a hammer-forged 39-inch 304 stainless steel barrel, it is marketed as the best-selling gas-based projector of its kind.

Notes
Not a conventional firearm — the X-Caliber launches medication-filled darts, not bullets, and is regulated as a projector/RDD device rather than a firearm. The 39-inch barrel accepts 13mm darts, with an optional insert for 11mm darts. Ships as a kit with a 3x9x32mm scope and CO2 cylinders.
