Also known as: POF EYE, POF Corner Shot, Pakistan Eye
Overview
The POF Eye is a special-purpose around-corner weapon system developed by Pakistan Ordnance Factories under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Ayaz Khan, first publicly unveiled at IDEAS 2008 in Karachi. Conceptually similar to the Israeli CornerShot, it uses a hinged, rotating mount (up to 75 degrees of articulation) carrying a high-resolution camera, infrared sight, laser designator, and colour LCD monitor that lets the operator aim and fire from full cover. Unlike its all-metal Israeli counterpart, the POF Eye is designed as a modular system that can carry a standard 9mm semi-automatic pistol, a sub-machine gun, or a 40mm grenade launcher. It is intended for SWAT, hostage-rescue, and counter-terrorism teams operating in dense urban or built-up environments.

Notes
The POF Eye is a host platform rather than a discrete firearm: the listed caliber and capacity reflect the most common 9mm pistol configuration. The mount itself contributes additional weight and length but POF has not published detailed system-level dimensions. Camera optics are rated for ~20 m on infrared and ~400 m of video transmission range.
Background
Unveiled at IDEAS 2008 to a press scrum more accustomed to tanks and missiles, the POF Eye is one of the few indigenous Pakistani small-arms designs to be marketed internationally - the Malaysian Army chief was photographed handling it during a 2015 demonstration. Its core promise is brutally simple: shoot what you can see on screen, and never expose yourself to what is shooting back.
