Overview
The POF-USA Renegade Plus is a direct-impingement (DI) variant of Patriot Ordnance Factory's AR-15 platform, introduced as a more affordable entry point alongside the company's signature piston-driven rifles. Built on a Gen 4 billet lower receiver, it pairs a 16.5-inch nitride heat-treated barrel with a 14.5-inch M-LOK MRR handguard, a Dictator nine-position adjustable gas block, a straight gas tube, a heat-sink barrel nut, and POF-USA's Ultimate bolt carrier group. It ships with a flat 3.5 lb match-grade trigger using KNS Precision anti-walk pins and a triple-port muzzle brake.

Notes
Despite the DI operating system, the Renegade Plus retains many of POF-USA's higher-end features such as the heat-sink barrel nut, adjustable gas block, and Ultimate BCG. Barrel is commonly listed at 16.5 inches.
Background
Patriot Ordnance Factory built its reputation on gas-piston ARs, so the Renegade line was a deliberate move back to the classic direct-impingement system Eugene Stoner designed, offering POF's premium machining at a lower price point.
