Overview
The POF Revolution DI (Direct Impingement) is a groundbreaking .308 Winchester semi-automatic rifle built on an AR-15-sized receiver, achieving what the firearms industry long considered impossible -- full-power .308 ballistics from a platform the same size and nearly the same weight as a standard 5.56mm AR-15. At just 6.81 pounds with a 16.5-inch barrel, the Revolution DI is one of the lightest .308 rifles on the market, achieved through POF's proprietary receiver design that uses AR-15 receiver dimensions rather than the larger AR-10 pattern. The rifle features POF's nine-position Dictator adjustable gas block, which allows fine-tuning of the gas system for suppressed or unsuppressed operation and different ammunition loads. The 4150 CrMoV steel barrel has a nitride treatment and 5R rifling for reduced fouling and improved accuracy, with a 1:10 twist rate optimized for 147-175 grain .308 projectiles.

Notes
The POF Revolution's key innovation is its proprietary bolt and receiver design that allows a .308 Winchester bolt and barrel to fit inside an AR-15 receiver footprint. This is not simply a scaled-down AR-10 -- POF engineered a new bolt geometry and magazine well that accepts proprietary POF .308 magazines in the smaller receiver. The nine-position Dictator gas block provides more granular adjustment than typical two-position blocks, allowing precise tuning for specific ammunition and suppressor combinations. The rifle-length gas system on the 16.5-inch barrel provides a longer dwell time and gentler cycling than carbine-length .308 systems. A 12.5-inch barreled PST (Pistol) variant is also available.
Background
The POF Revolution earned its name by defying the conventional wisdom that .308 Winchester required a large-frame AR-10 receiver, proving that innovative bolt and receiver engineering could deliver full-power .308 performance in an AR-15-sized package weighing under 7 pounds.
