Polymer80 PFC9
Polymer80, Inc. · Pistol · Discontinued · 2020
Also known as: P80 PFC9, PFC9 Compact
Overview
The Polymer80 PFC9 is the compact, factory-assembled and serialized counterpart to the PFS9. Built on Polymer80's PF940C-derived reinforced polymer frame, it chambers 9x19mm Parabellum and ships as a complete firearm rather than an 80-percent kit. A 4.02-inch nitride stainless steel barrel and slide ride atop the P80 frame, which offers the same aggressive texture, 1911-style 18-degree grip angle, double-undercut trigger guard, extended beavertail and thumb ledge as the full-size model. The flat-faced polymer trigger, angled front and rear slide serrations and accessory rail carry over. Compatible with the Glock 19 footprint and Glock-pattern magazines, the PFC9 provides 15+1 capacity in a concealment-friendly compact package.

Background
Polymer80 was founded in 2013 in Dayton, Nevada by Loran Kelley Jr. and David Borges, rising to prominence as the dominant maker of 80-percent unfinished pistol frames that let hobbyists legally build their own Glock-pattern handguns at home. The company became a flashpoint in the 'ghost gun' debate; following years of regulatory and legal pressure under ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F, Polymer80 ceased operations in 2024.
