The PP-19-01 Vityaz is a selective-fire 9×19mm Parabellum submachine gun developed by Izhmash in 2004 and adopted by the Russian Interior Ministry in 2005. Built on a modified AKS-74U/AK-105-pattern receiver, it operates on simple blowback from a closed bolt and shares extensive parts commonality with the AK-74 family.
