Overview
The PSA AXR SSP is a short-stroke gas piston rifle announced at SHOT Show 2026, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO with a 14.5-inch cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, and in .300 AAC Blackout in a shorter configuration. It uses PSA's E4 bolt with dual ejectors and an enlarged lug diameter, a three-position gas regulator for standard, suppressed and adverse settings, fully ambidextrous lower controls, and a buffer-tube-free recoil system that allows a folding brace or stock.
