The PSA JAKL is a long-stroke gas-piston rifle from Palmetto State Armory that fuses AR-15 and AK design philosophies, debuting in 2022. Built around a 6105 monolithic upper receiver that mates to any mil-spec AR-15 lower, the JAKL replaces the AR's direct-impingement system and buffer tube with an AK-style over-barrel long-stroke piston and an AR/AK-hybrid bolt and carrier.
