Also known as: PTR-63

Overview

The PTR 63 is PTR Industries' 5.56x45mm NATO roller-delayed blowback rifle, bringing the H&K HK33/53-pattern roller-locked action to the AR-magazine ecosystem. It feeds from standard AR-pattern/STANAG 30-round magazines, uses an AR-style trigger grip housing for compatibility with common AR accessories, and mounts a PTR HG7 mil-spec aluminum M-LOK handguard. The 16.5-inch barrel features a 1:7 twist threaded 1/2x28 and a 6.9-inch welded steel Picatinny rail. It bridges classic roller-delayed performance with contemporary AR-compatible ergonomics.
