Overview
The PTR 9 is PTR Industries' American-made 9mm MP5-pattern roller-delayed blowback platform, the company's flagship pistol-caliber line. Built on H&K MP5-derived geometry, it uses an 8.87-inch barrel, a stamped-steel receiver, a nitride heat-treated tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto bolt carrier, a welded steel Picatinny rail and an M-LOK aluminum handguard. Configured as a pistol without stock or brace, it delivers the smooth recoil impulse and reliability of the roller-locked MP5 lineage in a US-built package feeding from steel 30-round magazines.
