Overview

The PTR 9CT MP is the Magpul Edition braced variant of PTR Industries' American-made 9mm roller-delayed MP5-pattern pistol. It uses the classic HK roller-delayed blowback operating system with a tungsten dead-blow weighted bolt carrier, an 8.87-inch cold-hammer-forged nitrided barrel with a 3-lug interface and 1/2x28 threading, and ships dressed in Magpul furniture including a BSL collapsible arm brace and SL HK94/MP5-style handguard. It feeds from 30-round steel magazines or 50-round drums and is suppressor-ready.

Background

PTR Industries got its start producing HK91/G3 roller-delayed rifles from original Portuguese FMP tooling, so its MP5-pattern 9CT line is a natural extension of decades spent perfecting the roller-locked action on American soil.
