Overview

The Q Boombox is a compact semi-automatic direct-impingement rifle chambered in Q's own 8.6 Blackout - an .338-caliber subsonic-optimized cartridge necked up from .308 Winchester. Built on a compact AR-10-pattern receiver sized for AR-15 handling, it runs SR-25-pattern magazines, a two-piece bolt carrier group, a one-piece continuous 7075-aluminum top rail, an adjustable low-profile gas block, a Q-Sert / M-LOK handguard, Q's two-stage cassette trigger, and an XL Cherry Bomb muzzle brake (M18x1.5). The fast 1:3 twist barrel is built to stabilize very heavy subsonic 8.6 BLK loads, making the Boombox a hard-hitting, suppressor-host platform.
