Overview

The Q The Fix is a lightweight precision bolt-action rifle that grafts AR-15 ergonomics onto a short-action repeater. It uses a 45-degree short-throw bolt, an AR-pattern safety selector and pistol grip, a folding fully adjustable stock, a free-floating Q-Sert / M-LOK handguard, and SR-25-pattern magazine compatibility. The threaded stainless barrel ships with a Cherry Bomb muzzle brake and is suppressor-ready. The Fix is offered in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and Q's own 8.6 Blackout via a quick-change barrel system, with the complete rifle weighing in around 6.3 lb.

Background

The Fix headlined the launch of Q, LLC after Kevin Brittingham left SIG Sauer, positioning a fighting bolt gun with AR controls and a sub-7-pound weight as a radical rethink of the precision rifle.
