Overview

The Radical Firearms RF-15 is the company's high-volume, budget-priced semi-automatic AR-15 carbine, built around forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers in Stafford, Texas. The base 5.56 NATO model uses a 16-inch SOCOM-contour barrel made of 4140 chrome-moly vanadium steel with a Melonite (QPQ nitride) finish, a 1:7 twist, a mid-length direct-impingement gas system with a .750 low-profile gas block, and an A2 flash hider on a 1/2x28 thread. The rifle ships with one of Radical's in-house free-float M-LOK handguards-most commonly the 15" RPR, FCR, or MHR thin rails-paired with a B5 Bravo or MFT Minimalist six-position collapsible stock and a 30-round magazine. Marketed as the "Forged Milspec" line, the RF-15 is one of the most affordable complete AR-15s on the market, frequently retailing between $500 and $700, and is offered across a broad spread of calibers including .300 Blackout, 7.62x39, .223 Wylde, 6.5 Grendel, and 6.8 SPC II.
