Radom MPS
Fabryka Broni Lucznik - Radom · Pistol · Prototype · 2023
Also known as: FB Radom MPS, Radom NG, Moduowy Pistolet Samopowtarzalny
Overview
The Radom MPS (Moduowy Pistolet Samopowtarzalny, or Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol) is a striker-fired, short-recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, developed by Poland's Fabryka Broni Lucznik-Radom and first publicly revealed at the MSPO defence exhibition in 2023. Unusually, it dispenses with a conventional polymer frame in favour of an internal metal chassis seated inside an interchangeable polymer grip, allowing the grip size, colour and underbarrel rail length to be swapped. It features an ambidextrous slide stop, a reversible magazine release, a glove-friendly trigger guard, factory iron sights zeroed for 25 metres, and an optics-ready milled slide accepting adapters for common micro red dot footprints.

Notes
Weight of roughly 595 g is measured without a loaded metal magazine. The pistol uses a hammerless striker mechanism with a semi-double-action-only trigger and a stated pull weight of about 2.3-2.4 kg. As of its 2023 unveiling the design was a prototype/pre-production candidate aimed at the Polish armed forces, police, Border Guard and civilian shooters.
Background
FB Radom developed the MPS in consultation with the Polish army, Police, Border Guard and special services as well as competitive shooters, aiming for a fully modular, lightweight successor in the lineage of the company's earlier VIS and PR-15 Ragun pistols.
