Overview
The Remington Model 552 Speedmaster is an American blowback-operated, semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle cartridges interchangeably. Introduced in 1957, it feeds from a tubular magazine beneath the 21-inch barrel and features a walnut stock, cross-bolt safety and a receiver grooved for scope mounts. It has remained a popular plinking and small-game rifle in continuous production for decades.
