The Retay 724 Patrol is a tactical inertia semi-automatic shotgun built for close-quarters work, breaching, home defense, and competition. It pairs an 18.5-inch barrel with a 5+1 magazine and runs Retay's Inertia Plus rotating-bolt action, which locks the bolt closed against a knock and so resists the out-of-battery misfires of conventional inertia guns - an important trait for a defensive arm.
