Retay ACE

Retay Arms · Shotgun · In Production · 2024

Overview

The Retay ACE is the direct successor to the Masai Mara and Retay USA's current flagship inertia semi-automatic shotgun. It is built around Retay's Straight Line Inertial Transfer System and the Inertia Plus rotating bolt with rollover torsion spring, which keeps the bolt locked under a knock and eliminates the out-of-battery click-no-bang failure of conventional inertia guns. The receiver and components are entirely aluminum with no plastic in the action, the barrel is dead-straight deep-bore drilled with a factory-lengthened forcing cone, and an AIRY recoil pad cuts felt recoil by up to 30 percent. The trigger group is a removable push-button unit that lets the gun be field-stripped for cleaning or stored safely. Offered in 12, 20, and 28 gauge - including a 3.5-inch 12-gauge chamber - across synthetic, walnut, and a wide range of camo finishes, the ACE replaced the Masai Mara in the United States in 2024.
