Overview
The Rising Bite Shotgun applies John Rigby's patented Rising Bite action - originally developed for double rifles - to a best-quality side-by-side shotgun. Available in 12, 20, 28, 32-bore, and .410, it features best sidelock ejectors with dipped edge lock plates, chopper lump barrels, traditional Rigby Scroll pattern engraving with carved folding leaves on fences, and an English straight-hand grip stock with hand-chequered butt inlaid with a silver oval.

Background
While the Rising Bite mechanism became famous on Rigby's dangerous game rifles, it was originally conceived for shotguns and provides the same exceptional barrel-to-action lock-up in a sporting configuration.
