Overview

The Riley Defense RAK-47 is an American-made, semi-automatic AKM-pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and forming the base of Riley Defense's RAK product line. It is built on a fully heat-treated, mil-spec stamped steel receiver with a forged front trunnion, bolt and carrier, a long-stroke gas piston action and a 16.25-inch 4150 nitride barrel threaded 14x1 left-hand for muzzle devices. Standard equipment includes adjustable front and rear iron sights, a machined side scope-mount rail, a bolt hold-open safety lever, bayonet lug and teak wood furniture with a black polymer pistol grip.
